Waiting, Patiently Waiting

Hi everyone, sorry I was introduced and then you haven’t heard anything from me. We have been busy getting everything in place for the arrival of our baby. It is my wife’s “official” due date today (6-23) and with what is left in the day I really doubt she will be born today so we patiently wait. Hopefully after she is born I will be able to get posting some more and let the real fun begin. If you are one of our twitter followers I may see about posting up some play by play action as I have the opportunity (or not) to. So please hang tight things should get a bit more interesting from me in the near future.

Preparing for the arrival.
May 5th
With about two months to go until our baby is due we have recently started to panic that we do not have everything that we will need for the baby. Don’t get me wrong we do have the necessities such as a crib, changing table, car seat and some clothes. Many of which were hand me downs. We also have plans to get some more “gear” before the arrival of our first child and hopefully with the baby shower we may get some more necessities. My big question to our commenters is this: what are some things that you overlooked initially before your first born that you have now found to be a lifesaver?

My New Partner In Crime AND Kids Using PC’s

Happy Fatherhood Friday!I have a very exciting announcement to make. I have asked that my brother partner up with me to work on this site. He is a few years younger than me and is expecting his first child this June. I have always wanted the site to be a collaborative effort among dads of different backgrounds so that we can give advice and learn from each other. My experience as a parent centers mostly centers around 2 kids, a girl and a boy both of which are ages 2 and above. Now, c, can bring his new dad experiences to the table. (With that “new dad smell” too!) Hopefully this will expand our coverage and topics and can better serve you.
