Well I have you ALL topped!!!! I got so frustrated with my 8 year old, that I left her standing in the shoe store all by herself. Well....honestly, I walked out the front door of the store and moved the car to the back door....but by the time I got back inside she had already asked the manager to use the phone and had called her father to come get her. NOT MY PROUDEST MOMENT! But, she (and I) survived the experience and she is relatively whole and normal in her grown up state :)

I second Lis! Really horrible? I drank a little (ok a lot) last Saturday, leaving Sunday full of movies for my, otherwise TV free, kids! Oh the guilt!

Nice! I'm not out of whack! :D Sometimes you start to feel like the only parent who does these types of things. And really, in the long run, they don't really matter. Kids grow up in spite of their parents. Thanks for the comment.

Well, I let my 3-yr-old chew gum. LOL! And sometimes I let my kids eat ice cream for breakfast if I'm particularly tired and don't have the energy to *fight* with them. I've had to call Poison Control before. I use the TV as a babysitter when I've got articles to edit and/or write. I don't volunteer as much as I should at their school. Sometimes I don't buy them new shoes until they're complaining that their toes hurt.

(should I keep going??)
